Teaming with local design firm Keith Hargrove Architect, PC, on this three-phase, multi-million-dollar project, Stewart Cooper Newell Architects has assisted in all stages of programming, site planning, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration. The Emergency Services Training Facility is a joint project between Buncombe County and Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College and is located on their campus near Asheville, North Carolina. Upon completion, the training center will include a two-story educational building, five story high rise live fire training building, driving track, extrication pads, USAR training grounds, and exterior burn pads among other features.
