Southpoint Volunteer Fire Department Headquarters, Belmont, NC

This fire station was constructed as a result of the extreme residential growth of Belmont, one of Charlotte's fastest growing suburbs. Located near a popular lake-side community, this station replaced a smaller, 3000 square foot station. Along with serving almost 400 residences, this station is also located near Duke Power's Allen Steam Station. The station also contains a police substation to provide an extra work outlet to the Belmont Police Department.
