City of Simpsonville, SC Fire Substation

This fast growing suburb of Greenville, SC was experiencing difficulty in offering quick response times to their citizens from their existing station. They decided to add a second station to cover the east side of the city. The city had a very tight budget and to accommodate this we designed the station to be very flexible with lots of multiuse space to keep the size of the station small. The day room is also the training room, and one of the offices doubles as a small conference room. The station also includes a kitchen, sleep rooms, and storage space above the bays.
