City of Rock Hill, SC Airport Fire Station No. 6

The City of Rock Hill has seen enormous growth over the past 10 years. This growth has driven the need for several new substations and the development of a station prototype to maintain consistency throughout the city.

Station 6 is located at Bryant Field, Rock Hill’s Municipal Airport, and serves as both a full-functioning fire station as well as an ARFF facility. The prototype was modified to provide 4 apparatus bays for additional equipment that will serve the Airport in the future by connecting directly to the runway. The facility also includes training, kitchen, and dayroom facilities as well as offices, sleep rooms, storage and decon space.
