City of Lincolnton, NC Fire Department Headquarters & City Hall

The City of Lincolnton hired Stewart Cooper Newell to assist in the development of a plan to renovate the existing City Hall, additions to the Fire Department, and develop ideas to tie the two facilities together that would be both aesthetically pleasing and provide the City with desperately needed space for both groups. What you see above is the end result showing a new brick exterior to the existing facilities with an addition placed in the middle, creating a new single entrance for the public. The City Hall received a much demanded drive through window for utility payments and a new, larger council chambers in the new addition. The Fire Department received a new apparatus bay, renovated living quarters and new offices and training classrooms.
