City of Fayetteville, NC Fire Station No. 14

This 3 bay station will house both career fire fighters as well as students who are enrolled in the Fayetteville State University Fire Protection Program. The facility includes bunk rooms for the full time fire fighters, dorm rooms for the students, offices, day rooms, and a large training room. In addition, many spaces were designed for expanded training opportunities. Per Owner necessity, this project was designed and built on a fast-track schedule. Contracts were signed in October 2004, design was complete in January 2005, and construction was complete by October 2005.
