Bayleaf Volunteer Fire Department, Raleigh, NC

The Bay Leaf Volunteer Fire Department will be housed in a two story station that includes an elevator for ADA compliance, and outdoor deck which doubles as a training platform, and four apparatus bays. This station will include six individual sleep rooms. Bay Leaf Fire was originally slated for renovation and the addition of a second story. However, a feasibility analysis concluded that the station needed to be demolished and a replacement station built.
