Creation of a Master Plan Study for the Asheville – Buncombe Technical Community College and Buncombe County’s professional training programs for the Police, Sheriff, and Fire & EMS services are met on this site. This site is Master Planned to include: a 2-story Educational Building, an Apparatus/Maintenance Building, a 5-story High Rise Live Fire Training Building, a Residential/Commercial Live Fire Training Building, a Mobile Home Live Fire Training Building, a 5-story Training Tower, Extrication Pads, Flammable Liquids Pit, USAR Training Grounds, and Drafting pits.
