Stewart Cooper Newell Architects understands the science of designing Fire-Rescue and Public Safety facilities. Founded in 1971, we have designed over 180 Fire/EMS stations and Law Enforcement facilities across the United States. Our specialized expertise has helped many cities and counties better the morale of their firefighters and emergency medical personnel, decrease insurance rates, and provide better protection for their citizens. We are active members of several national firefighters' associations, which allows us to stay abreast of all the regulations and other changes that affect the fire service and design of these critical facilities.
Stewart Cooper Newell Architects has provided architectural and consulting services for Fire Departments in Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina, Nevada, Georgia, Virginia, Tennessee, Nebraska, Wyoming, Kansas, Kentucky, Rhode Island, Wisconsin, Arkansas, Florida, Mississippi, Montana, New York, Pennsylvania and Connecticut. Several of these designs have won Station Style Design Awards from Fire Chief Magazine; however our commitment to sustainable and practical design remains. We serve our clients from two offices: Gastonia, North Carolina and Columbia, South Carolina.
